Casino Magic Barge & APCs November 19, 2002
These pictures depict the deployment of 60 Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs) and the 250' X 50' X 20' Casino Magic Barge. Some nice sunrise shots were caught on the way out and are included. Casino Magic donated the Barge which was sunk in FH-1. Some APCs were deployed in FH-2, but most were placed in FH-1. There were 2 APCs left on the deck of the barge when she was sunk. Gulfstream Marine provided the deployment services and provided this great reef material at no cost to Federal, State, or MGFB. PRIMOFISH.COM provided the spotter boat services and these pictures. The "Silvership" (Mississippi Department of Marine Resources), the "Miss Barbara", and the "WireNut" also assisted. The remaining 63 APCs are planned for deployment in January.
